**Terms and Conditions for Renting Brambles 8 Trecco Bay Caravan Holiday Home**

**1. Introduction**
These terms and conditions govern the rental of Brambles 8, Trecco Bay, Porthcawl. By booking and renting the caravan, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

**2. Booking and Payment**
2.1. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking.
2.2. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 2 weeks before the start of the rental period.
2.3. Bookings made within 2 weeks of the rental period must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless an arrangement of payment has been made.

**3. Cancellation Policy**
3.1. Cancellations must be made in writing.
3.2. If you cancel more than 6 weeks before your arrival date, you will forfeit the deposit only.
3.3. Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the arrival date will result in forfeiture of the total rental amount.

**4. Security Deposit**
4.1. A refundable security deposit of £75 is required and must be paid with the final balance.
4.2. This deposit covers any damage or excessive cleaning required after your stay.
4.3. The security deposit will be refunded within 14 days of departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property.

**5. Check-in and Check-out**
5.1. Check-in time is from 3:00 PM on the arrival day.
5.2. Check-out time is by 10:00 AM on the departure day.
5.3. Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability and an additional charge.

**6. Occupancy and Use**
6.1. The maximum occupancy of the caravan is 8 people.
6.2. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old and provide valid identification upon booking.
6.3. The caravan is to be used for holiday purposes only and not for any commercial activity.

**7. Pets**
7.1. Pets are not allowed in the caravan unless expressly agreed upon at the time of booking.

**8. Smoking**
8.1. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the caravan.
8.2. Smoking is restricted to outside the caravan, and cigarettes must be extinguished and disposed of responsibly as rubbish.

**9. Guests’ Responsibilities**
9.1. Guests must keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
9.2. Guests must only use appliances for their intended uses.
9.3. All rubbish and recycling must be disposed of in the designated areas.

**10. Liability**
10.1. The owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises.
10.2. The owner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests.
10.3. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

**11. Complaints**
11.1. Any complaints regarding the accommodation should be reported immediately to the owner or the management company to allow for remedial action.
11.2. Complaints made after departure will not be considered.

**12. Force Majeure**
12.1. The owner is not liable for refunds or compensation due to circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, fire, flood, or other unusual events.

**13. Governing Law**
13.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
